CLASS DESCRIPTIONS: THE BASICS
OF SELLING ON EBAY
Have you been buying on
eBay, and are now ready to start selling? Or maybe you've sold a few things,
and would like to learn how to be a better seller? If so, this class was
designed for you. Let an eBay Expert teach you the RIGHT WAY to SELL on
eBay. All conducted in a fun, easy and informative, manner from an Education
Specialist trained by eBay! Give yourself the gift of learning and you'll be
buying and selling like a PRO on eBay in no time!
PART I - "The
Basics of Selling on eBay" The instructor will concentrate on
getting started as an eBay seller. You won't want to miss the tips and
tricks that will be shared, including how to do your research and how to
create eye-catching listings. This session will also include a discussion on
how to attract attention to your listings with better photos and HTML.
FOOTNOTE: The Learning Exchange recently published their summer catalog with
a different title to this class naming it "Buying & Selling - Getting
Started".
PART II - "The
Basics of Selling on eBay" The focus of the class will turn to
detailed information on fast, easy, secure online payments with PayPal, and
how to monitor your listings and complete your transactions. FOOTNOTE: The
Learning Exchange recently published their summer catalog with a different
title to this class naming it "Buying & Selling - Tips & Tricks".
All throughout both
sessions you’ll hear real-life stories and share experiences while meeting
other eBay community members. No matter if you're new to eBay or need some
additional tricks of the trade, we promise you'll learn something new.

build your eBay business, this course shows you how. Spend a day learning
how to improve your listings, tips and tricks to sell more on eBay and how
to set up and manage your eBay business. Let an eBay Expert teach you the

I – “Beyond the Basics: Techniques for the Serious Seller”
We concentrate on
advanced selling tips and bulk selling tools. This session also includes
detailed information on photos and HTML. Learn how to: • Start and/or grow
an eBay-based business • Choose the right Listing format • Create compelling
Listings using eBay listing tools. All throughout the session you hear
real-life stories and share experiences while meeting other eBay community
members.

II – “Beyond the Basics: Techniques for the Serious Seller”
The focus of this class
turns to merchandising to build your eBay business. Learn how to manage your
listings with management tools and how to run your business efficiently.
Learn: • The benefits of an eBay Store • How to Market your eBay business •
how to manage your sales, packing & shipping • How to use online payments
from PayPal • Sales reports and other tools • Protecting your eBay business
• Valuable eBay resources and programs. Hear real-life stories and share
experiences while meeting other eBay community members.
